This month has been more than exciting thanks to our recent merger with VersionOne. I am privileged to lead a great team at the newly expanded CollabNet. It is an honor to be a part of a team that makes daily strides to deliver value to customers through technical innovation, professionalism and hard work.
As I think about our merger with VersionOne, I am not only enthusiastic about the new levels of value we will soon offer to our customers, but also about how we will demonstrate the great value that can be unlocked for organizations through better, faster, more effective software development and delivery.
Our goal at CollabNet is to innovate and introduce new ideas for efficient and effective software development to the enterprise market. And, when it comes to offering open and scalable platforms for ALM collaboration, enterprise version control and DevOps, the high standard we set for driving innovation and quality products has been met to an impressive degree, and of course we know there is always more to aspire to achieve.
That’s why, with the VersionOne enterprise Agile platform in our solution portfolio, we are able to extend our best-in-class offering to encompass the engine of today’s software-driven digital transformations – enterprise Agile practices. While I’m excited about the technology, I’m equally excited about the mindset and approach both CollabNet and VersionOne advocate.
To deliver great value we must empower our customers to reduce the roadblocks and friction of using technology to innovate. Whether it’s Agile, DevOps, open source or even waterfall, we view the software delivery lifecycle as a single, dynamic and continuous process.
Each and every organization has unique needs that require an open and flexible approach – coupled with security and governance. Both of our companies have focused on the concepts of easy, fast and secure. Now, we can include unified – from requirements, build and test, to deploy and release.
I now see a company that is truly best across the enterprise software lifecycle. Couple that with an open and flexible approach, and we have an opportunity to deliver value in new, unprecedented ways. We plan to move forward quickly to partner with our customers and deliver important new capabilities.
Therefore I am confident that current and future customers will benefit greatly from the deep experience both of our companies have in helping organizations transform and improve their software process and, of course, delivering value.
This is a major new chapter for CollabNet and VersionOne, and I look forward to continuing this journey as we merge our organizations, technology, people and processes!
I encourage you to reach out to your account teams with any questions and if you haven’t see it already, here is an FAQ we created with answers to many questions about this exciting merger.
Thank you and welcome to the new CollabNet!
